- AFAIK these two replace roughly the same functions. But why not use MCP
- instead? It offers this and many other patches, many more then one could think
- of.
-
- Try downloading it from Aminet: util/cdity/MCP110.lha
- It has both English and German manuals, a MUI preferences program, and very
- active support. These guys (Stephan Sommerfeld and Michael Knoke, plus others)
- are doing a wonderful job.

- I think this one is only necessary for certain accelerated machines that mount
- their Fast RAM at a very late stage when booting. Nevertheless, MCP has a
- similar function.

- Yes, you can get all this from just a single, convenient program. And more
- besides: Do all the assigns in your User-Startup! Drag and resize *whole
- windows* instead of a meagre outline! Change the look of your GadTools gadgets!
- Auto-activate the frontmost screen! Never mind PropHack either, nor FrameIHack,
- nor SysIHack. And best of all: It's ABSOLUTELY FREE.

- Yup, MCP does this too.

- MCP doesn't have *this*, but I never noticed much speed increase from this
- anyway.
-
- But there's more: QuickLayers (also in MCP), SpeedRamsey (also in MCP) and
- FastGary (also in MCP).
-
- Really, people, get MCP! It has more features than I can enumerate here, but it
- replaced most of the patches I ever used. It replaces AssignWedge, CacheFont,
- NoClick, FKey, LeftyMouse, NewEdit, SunMouse, WBGauge, you name it. All that in
- a program less than 70Kb long, with separate 68000 and 68020 versions available.
-
- You won't regret it.
